Mixed and mastered as usual by Dimitris N. Douvras – engineer and producer of many of the top names in both the industrial and metal scenes in Greece – and with artwork as for the album itself by Vlad McNeally, this 5-track EP version of “Damsel In Distress” adds the exclusive “b-side” bonus track “Femme Fatale” and 2 different versions of remix by Ukraine’s GINGER SNAP5 – plus a digital release for the CYGNOSIC remix otherwise found only on the limited edition CD-version of the album.

Every year at DWA we manage to find some new spin on the concept of compilation albums – and 2015 is no exception!

Technolorgy’s new album “Dying Stars” compared to Frozen Plasma and Blutengel, in conversation with Marc Urban of Sonic Seducer (June 2015 issue)

Following on from last Friday’s revelations with regards to new releases from DYM, we turn this week to Greece for another album celebrating its second anniversary with a substantial makeover…

This time it’s the turn of TECHNOLORGY’s “Endtimes In Vogue”, which like DYM’s “The Technocratic Deception” was originally released at the tailend of 2012…and on which like with the DYM album various remixers have subsequently been engaged throughout the last 12 months, not to mention TECHNOLORGY themselves who while ostensibly working flat out on a full follow-up album anticipated in early 2015 also made time to complete and contribute a couple of new bonus tracks of their own.

And, like the DYM releases announced last Friday and the signing of SERAPHIM SYSTEMbefore it, this reformatted expanded reissue was foreshadowed this summer to the sharp-eyed observer by the inclusion of a previously unreleased remix from VPROJEKT on the 12-track DWA compilation CD given away to 60,000+ lucky readers of “Orkus!” magazine this August…

So while we wait for that follow-up album, what better way to remind ourselves of what sweet-yet-sinister synthpop/industrial sounds TECHNOLORGY have to offer than in the form of this timely reissue of their promising debut “Endtimes In Vogue” – as both a “2CD Endzeit Edition” and the standalone “Endtimes In Dub” digital release of remixes plus “Endzeit Edition” of “Endtimes In Vogue” with TECHNOLORGY’s own original tracks/mixes as bonus content…

The digital edition of “Endtimes In Dub” rounds up the 3 remixes featured as bonus tracks on the original CD release of “Endtimes In Vogue” by GRENDEL, FGFC820 andPREEMPTIVE STRIKE 0.1, plus 3 others from STUDIO-X, fellow Greek outfit HEADSHOCKand the previously mentioned VPROJEKT one – all of which have previously appeared only on various compilations – and adds another 6 previously unreleased remixes from the likes of C-LEKKTOR, RUINIZER, TERRORKODE, SERAPHIM SYSTEM, AKTIVEHATE and another act based in Greece CHAMAELEON.

The CD version leads with TECHNOLORGY’s own “Endtimes In Vogue (Endtimes In Club Version) and instrumental “The Awakening”, followed by the “v2.0” version of “Escape” previously released only on the long-deleted DWA compilation promo-CD “Dying World Anthems”, followed by all 9 of the remixes not found on the original CD release of “Endtimes In Vogue”.

Accompanied by the original album as CD1, this 2CD release comes in jewelcase with accompanying 6-panel booklet and the entire package wrapped in an outer “O-card” – a layout all painstakingly redesigned from previously unpublished photos and unused designs – and is strictly limited to just 100 copies!

All in all, with the exception only of a couple of cover versions, this 27-track 2CD Endzeit Edition (or taken separately, the twin digital releases) can easily be described as more or less “the collected recorded works of TECHNOLORGY to date” – every single song conveniently compiled for you into one highly limited collector’s item.
