Although generally speaking the vast majority of DWA’s releases come and go on schedule, inevitably every year there are one or two exceptions – particularly when it comes to vinyl, which as a medium not being widely produced is therefore more difficult to source reliably.

At the start of this year we faced some truly horrendous delays from one supplier (unsurprisingly DROPPED afterwards) with regard to the 2LP version of “CygnosiC” – which completely destroyed months of planning and publicity. And just recently, a slight ‘mare with the sleeves of Rave The Reqviem‘s “Is Apollo Still Alive?” the first batch of which we had to reject because of cracking on the folds, and a real horror show with the initial pressing of Die Sektor‘s “These Broken Shields” which came back simply infinitely looping a voice saying “I Am” over and over… (although these might be considered “collector’s items” in their own right SORRY we are simply going to SHRED all 200 of them to avoid any mix up with the second CORRECT pressing!)

Fortunately we have nothing like that to report – just an update on the production status of a couple of vinyl titles that are presently lagging a few weeks behind schedule: (1) C-Lekktor‘s “Radioakktivity” 7″ and (2) Nitro/Noise‘s “Censorsh!t – The Remixes” 12″.
In both cases, the vinyl itself was already delivered – and is currently lodged at our EU distributor Audioglobe’s premises in Italy. While historically-speaking it has usually been the vinyl itself where we experienced delays, this time in fact it has been the printing of outer sleeves – which have been produced separately. All that remains in both cases is for one to be united with the other – records into sleeves – and pre-orders will be shipped, with general release following…
To this end, we are now shipping sleeves to Audioglobe, Audioglobe are now shipping us vinyl…and we would like to thank everyone waiting on pre-orders of both these records for their patience, which will soon be rewarded (think “a couple of weeks” from today, as estimated remaining delivery time).

Overall, having now run through no fewer than FIVE separate suppliers for vinyl, we seem to have arrived finally at a fairly reliable source – which in turn may mean a few more titles being announced on vinyl in the near future.

NITRO/NOISE’s second album “No Cure For Apocalypse” came out last year in conjunction with the Canadian band’s first EU tour, firmly establishing them as a formidable new force in the industrial genre.

Heavy-duty and hard-as-nails in every respect, “No Cure For Apocalypse” steadily sold out of its 2CD first edition over the course of 2015 – and with the band now poised to take to the stage at the prestigious Aftermath Festival in Toronto this Friday alongside TACTICAL SEKT and VELVET ACID CHRIST the time has finally come for us to proudly present the spawn of that album..!

Many months ago we placed the anthemic standout track “Censorsh!t” in the hands of numerous producers and have now pressed the results onto 175gm heavyweight vinyl – four tracks per side. No mere “single”, this 12” is rather “Censorsh!t – The Remixes” – a companion piece to both the original track and album, comprised of sometimes radical reinventions of the original.

Krischan Wesenberg’s “ROTERSAND Rework”, which first appeared on the CD2, is remastered here for vinyl – alongside the dramatically different “ROTERSAND Redub” version which was subsequently released on the special DWA compilation available with Orkus! Magazin’s summer edition last year.

Bass metal sensation ZARDONIC – eagerly awaited at Resistanz Festival in 2016 – provided the speaker-smashing opening track, plus an instrumental version for DJs pressed on the B-side of the record.

Scene legends FADERHEAD and DOPE STARS INC. supplied mixes in their own inimitable signature styles – with rising star SERAPHIM SYSTEM and darlings of the witch house crowd AAIMON providing the more downtempo grooves for the respective runouts of each side.

Like all of DWA’s vinyl releases, rather than being put on vinyl as some kind of afterthought “Censorsh!t” was carefully conceived and formatted from the outset specifically for the 12” medium – an album-length single for DJs, collectors and die-hard NITRO/NOISE fans alike, specifically mastered for vinyl by Jan L at his X-Fusion Music Production facility in Germany.

Strictly limited to 100 units only, on heavyweight 175gm vinyl, “Censorsh!t” comes complete with hand-numbered black outer sleeve screen-printed in yellow and white, matching black poly-lined inner sleeves for maximum protection, plus of course a download code for all 8 tracks. Front cover artwork comes, like the “No Cure For Apocalypse” album itself, from Estonian artist Darius Alas.

The definitive 2CD collector’s edition reissue of the classic debut album from Montreal’s dark electro/industrial rock hybrid!

An assured and polished debut, “Total Nihilism” was immediately picked up for sublicensing and originally appeared in 3 versions around the world in 2012 – all with different bonus tracks.

The album proved hugely popular, spawning the massive international club hits “Synchronised Beat F**k” and “Built For War”, and leading Nitro/Noise to be described as “an industrial leviathan that rages wildly, taking no prisoners with epic melodies, brutal electronic beats and songwriting with the deadly precision of a sniper rifle” by no less an authority than the Supreme Commander of Nachtmahr, Thomas Rainer himself.
