An assured and polished debut, “Total Nihilism” was immediately picked up for sublicensing and originally appeared in 3 versions around the world in 2012 – all with different bonus tracks.
The album proved hugely popular, spawning the massive international club hits “Synchronised Beat F**k” and “Built For War”, and leading Nitro/Noise to be described as “an industrial leviathan that rages wildly, taking no prisoners with epic melodies, brutal electronic beats and songwriting with the deadly precision of a sniper rifle” by no less an authority than the Supreme Commander of Nachtmahr, Thomas Rainer himself.
Within just the first two years of Nitro/Noise’s existence the trio had already been remixed by and shared the stage with bands such as SUICIDE COMMANDO, SITD, COMBICHRIST and NACHTMAHR, undertaken their first US and EU tours, had a full album of remixes released digitally…and even had their first vinyl release – the 3-track 12″ single of album tracks reworked specifically for the dancefloor “Rebuilt For Clubs”.
In response to popular demand, this brand new “Total Nihilism (Ultimate Edition)” CD-pressing adds the 3 club mixes from that now-almost sold-out 12” to the end of the album – making these 3 tracks available on CD for the first time.
The CD2 of the ultra-limited 2CD edition is the “Resynchronised F**ked Beats” album previously only available digitally…which results in 5 of those remixes (from TERRORKODE, TECHNOLORGY, NANO INFECT, RUINIZER and CUTOFF: SKY) being available on CD for the first time.
We pressed 200 units of the “Ultimate Edition” in total – of which 100 are released in jewelcase with 12-panel fold-out lyric booklet, at a budget price.
But for the “ultimate fans”, the other 100 copies are presented in 2CD jewelcase with 12-panel fold-out lyric booklet and carton sleeve overcase, plus CD2 to make the comprehensive 29-track “Total Nihilism (2CD Ultimate Edition)” – which is strictly limited to 100 copies only, all individually hand numbered on the inside of the traycard.
